Post-Graduate Semester

This is a two-year program that is structured in one-semester units. It is intended for those who have satisfactorily completed the Internship at ATSNE or who have been teaching for at least two years. It is structured in four, one-semester units that may be completed over a period of years. The post-graduate semester includes: attending the training class a minimum of one day per week and a monthly evening seminar. At the beginning of the semester the teacher meets privately with the Director to discuss teaching goals and to design a plan that best meets the needs of the individual teacher. Those who successfully complete four post-graduate semesters are eligible to apply for the Assistant Faculty training. (See the “Faculty Development Program.”) The post-graduate semester fulfills Continuing Education requirements for teaching members of AmSAT.
