Independent
Study
This program is designed to be flexible to meet the needs of
individual teachers, especially those who do not live near the
School. Teachers should contact the Director for assistance in
designing a program that suits their needs. This may include
private lessons from the Director and/or ATSNE Faculty, and
attendance on the teacher training course. As space permits,
it may also include participation in evening seminars and
Assistant Faculty classes (See the “Faculty Development
Program”), or other ongoing workshops at the School
appropriate to the teacher’s interest and experience. The
minimum period for an Independent Study is one week.
