The Alexander Technique (AT) is a world-renowned method for improving body awareness and uncovering patterns of tension that effect posture and alignment. Often described as "the technique under all techniques," the AT embodies thinking, sensing, and moving, allowing for greater ease and poise, regardless of the movement style. In this course you will learn skills that facilitate effortless, natural movement, and enable you to be more fully expressive with movement. You will also explore the body and movement from an anatomical perspective, learning how the musculoskeletal structure and nervous systems affect strength, sensitivity and flexibility.
